Do not mix loaders: a Forge file will not work on Fabric or NeoForge. The NeoForge 1.21.1 build of Verity JE is deprecated — use the Forge 1.20.1 build unless the project page says otherwise.

Install Verity JE in 6 Steps

Install Forge for Minecraft 1.20.1 from the official Forge site, then launch the game once with the Forge profile to create the mods folder. Close the game.
Download GeckoLib for Forge 1.20.1 and the Verity JE .jar file (stable 5.7.4) — the Minecraft Java download — from the official CurseForge Java project page. Place both files in the .minecraft/mods folder.
